The controlling department is essential for providing the necessary data insight to guide Silvan through the current growth phase. That’s why we are looking for an ambitious Financial Controller with a few years of experience and a strong drive. The tasks will, among other things, consists of carrying out financial analyses, supporting the development of our BI setup and actively participating in implementing and acting on opportunities to develop the business.

Main responsibilities
- Support selected departments as a financial business partner, including our top management
- Develop, maintain, and optimize financial and operational reports
- Responsibility for forecasting and budgeting
- Ensure responsible financial follow-up of all our 43 stores, as well as analysis of improvement areas
- Make financial calculations of fines and bonus settlement for suppliers
- Investigate opportunities to optimize the current data management and BI setup and implement derived measures
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics
- Previous experience at big accounting firm within auditing and/or advisory is a plus
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Superuser of Excel, including Power Query and VBA – experience with BI tools is a big plus
- Excellent analytical skills combined with good presentation and communication skills – both in Danish and English
- Good understanding of controlling tools, accounting methods and financial processes
