Are you dynamic, organized, and comfortable in an organization with many different stakeholders? The joint venture Fehmarn Link Contractors (FLC) is the main contractor for the Fehmarn belt crossing, the largest construction project in Europe. An exciting task for a communications officer has arisen here.

For the joint venture Femern Link Contractors we are looking for you at the location in Fehmarn as soon as possible as a Communications Officer.

Your tasks:

  • Coordination of visits to the construction site on Fehmarn as well as contact person for visitors and their enquiries
  • Implementation of communication campaigns and concepts
  • Supporting FLC's internal communication through info screens, info events and presentations
  • Supporting PR and community-building events as well as the German subcontractors and suppliers
  • Supporting external communication via social media and joint initiatives with our project owners and joint venture partners
  • Advise and support FLC management on communication activities

Your profile:

  • Fluent in German (preferably mother tongue) and English
  • Confident in project management and communication planning
  • 5-8 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experienced writer with journalistic skills
  • Experience in dealing with media and press is an advantage

Your team:

You will be part of the FLC communications department, which currently consists of two communications officers, a student assistant, and an event coordinator trainee. You will report to the Communications Manager. The communications team is based both in Copenhagen and on site in Rødbyhavn, Denmark, so some travel time should be expected.
