Nordisk Film ShortCut is looking for a Virtual Production Producer
Do you want to work with our brand new 360° LED Stage?
In October 2022 Shortcut opened their brand new 360° LED stage in the heart of Copenhagen. We are now looking for a VP (Virtual production) producer to join our VP team to manage customer projects efficiently both within advertising, fiction, music and live events. As the VP producer you will often be first point of contact on the stage and will also have an active role in approaching new clients and/or dealing with customer estimates and presentations.
As our new VP Producer you will be part of a small, but very competent and energetic team that aims at building a new and groundbreaking business within Virtual production.
It’s not essential to us that you have experience with virtual productions. The most important thing for us is that you’re interested in our new technology and see it as part of the future in the film industry – just like we do!
We expect that you:
- Have a background as a line producer or production assistant where you have experience with the preparation and execution of physical content productions, either fiction or advertising.
- Have an eye for detail and are good at keeping the big picture
- Thrive in a work environment where you can contribute to building your own job and where things might change, also last minute
- Are service minded and solution oriented
- Are curious by nature and have a great interest in learning more about Virtual production
The tasks consist of:
- Respond to or proactively pursue inquiries about the scene and set up meetings with relevant parties
- Participate in creative meetings together with VP Supervisors, and ensure follow up
- Prepare and follow up on offers to customers
- Plan and communicate with line producers and production teams prior to each production regarding practical details and needs, in coordination with our Stage manager
- Cooperate and coordinate with the other Shortcut departments, Post and VFX
- Ensure that all elements are ready for production on stage: including content, scenography, equipment and VP team
- Admin tasks involve invoicing, management of calendar etc.
