Who are you?
We are a small and ambitious team, so we need all hands on deck and full dedication to succeed. How do you recognize yourself in the following descriptions:
- You know what it means to be a chartering broker. Show us in your application why you are a successful chartering broker today and how you work.
- You are not afraid to make decisions on your own. At the same time, you are a team player. Do you feel comfortable negotiating freights and contract details on your own? How do you know when collegial advice is needed?
- You see opportunities and you know how to pursue them. What would you do, if you discovered a new business opportunity that required you to travel to another country for a day or two?
- You have an international mindset and a flexible approach to working
We work “across borders” and our customers do not always follow the same clock as we do... How do you feel about that?
Your qualifications
- Fluent in English – written and spoken on negotiation level
- 5+ Years of Shipping experience
- Experience within the Project and Break Bulk segment
- Experience with Time Chartering / Tramping
- Experienced in the trade lane to and from Africa is definitely a plus
