Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and a world leading supplier of intelligent metering solutions and services. We experience significant demand for our products, solutions, and services, where we have a strong focus on developing the most innovative and value-adding intelligent metering solutions and services for energy- and water consumption and was in 2022 awarded with the innovation prize by Dansk Industri (DI). We want to support customers by creating value from data and we are in the process of developing new solutions for this purpose. In order to accelerate this process, we are looking to add new resources and competences to our Strategic Product Management team.
With direct reference to our Head of Strategic Product Management, you will become part of a positive, open and dedicated team of 6 people, who are dedicated to identifying and solving our customers issues, and who are focused on Kamstrup being the best supplier of intelligent Energy Metering and Analytics products, solutions & services globally. Strategic Product Management is front-runner for driving Kamstrup’s ambitions especially within solution and services to the next level.
A job focused on developing and driving business opportunities
As Strategic Product Manager you will be responsible for creating an understanding of current and future needs within the value chain of select markets and customer groups. You will be responsible for the development of an analytical, profitable product road map, covering products, solutions, and services as well as go-to-market strategies and market launch. To succeed you will work closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales, R&D, Market Intelligence, and other Product Managers, as well as with external customers and partners.
More specifically, your tasks include:
In this position, you can expect around 30 travel days per year.
Personality matters
We are looking for an ambitions Strategic Product Manager who is willing to go the extra mile to deliver a winning solution. We imagine that you have a Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or similar combined with at least 5 years of experience from a similar position where you have worked with product portfolio management as well as market launch. Moreover, you must have documented experience converting customer insight into value propositions and business opportunities, as this will be a key element of the job.
As a person you are analytical and driven by your desire to create change. You are outgoing and able to build positive relations and communicate clearly to customers and stakeholders throughout the organization, which will enable you to thrive with a wide range of stakeholders. You have a great business understanding and a proactive mind-set, that enables you to identify and prioritize key value creation levers and follow up on them.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken English. Danish is an asset.

- Building product portfolio strategies and roadmaps and establishing solid business cases and go-to market strategies
- Securing optimum product launches in close cooperation with Marketing and Sales

- Ensure profitability performance of our product program in the market
