This is a unique opportunity for you to be part of the Ambu sourcing process in an exciting role as Procurement Associate. We are looking for a new colleague to join us on the journey of growing and improving Global Procurement.
Ambu is an international and inspiring company with ambitious growth targets. We develop, produce and sell medical devices that enable doctors and nurses to save lives on a daily basis.
You will be a member of the Global Procurement team, which comprises eleven experienced and dedicated colleagues with a broad background within procurement. You will report directly to the Head of Direct Spend & Finished Goods and you will work out of our headquarters in Ballerup.

You will be a member of the Global Procurement team, which comprises eleven experienced and dedicated colleagues with a broad background within procurement. You will report directly to the Head of Direct Spend & Finished Goods and you will work out of our headquarters in Ballerup.
Key responsibilities
- Play a key part in projects supporting direct spend and finished goods procurement including development and optimization projects, sourcing strategy, contract management and negotiations, and risk mitigations.
- Assist the Direct Spend and Finished Goods team with procurement tasks including securing proper and timely supplier documentation, supplier approvals/renewals, regulatory declarations, sourcing and RFQ support
- Spend analysis and reporting
- Process improvement (processes, tools, systems, IT etc.)
- Acts as a strategic partner for the business and ensure high professional standards
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
Strong background and experience from a strategic procurement function
- Preferably, you have relevant work experience from a similar position
- Proactive self-starter with an ability of managing, executing and successfully delivering on several assignments simultaneously
- Analytical, structured, process oriented and sense for the detail
- Strong in IT-systems (ERP, Contract Management, PLM, BI, Microsoft Office)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset
- High drive, motivation and accountability
- Relevant education and fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
