We have a vacant full-time position as Head of Development ADME in our DMPK & Nonclinical Project Management area. Position & Department Development ADME is part of ‘DMPK & Nonclinical Project Management’ in ‘Research & Early Development’ at Novo Nordisk. As Head of Development ADME you will define, develop and reinforce the nonclinical development ADME strategy through your leadership and management of the Development ADME department, which currently consists of a team of 14 colleagues. You and your team will be responsible for providing input to the project teams on nonclinical drug distribution, metabolite profiling and identification, excretion and drug-drug interactions. You will oversee activities in laboratories both in-house (in vitro assays, HPLC and MS) and be responsible for outsourcing activities with collaborators and at CROs. You will deliver high quality ADME packages to regulatory submission and response to regulatory agencies in scientific-related ADME queries for late-stage research projects and development projects. Furthermore, you will be an inspirational leader that coaches, motivates, and develops all ADME scientists and technicians. You will challenge status quo and nurture a research environment that encourages creativity, innovation, collaboration among scientists from different disciplines and organisations, and efficient utilization of resources. You will ensure a good collaborative environment with stakeholders inside and outside Novo Nordisk. The head of Development ADME will be part of DMPK & Nonclinical management leadership team. Qualifications We expect you to have a university degree within life sciences (biomedicine, pharmaceutical science, biotechnology, biology, etc.) and documented, solid professional experience working with ADME or related sciences in the Pharma industry or Biotech for 8 years and with leadership experience. A PhD degree within a relevant discipline will be an advantage. You are fluent in oral and written English. You have excellent communication skills, being capable of working in a complex inter-disciplinary organization and having the personal power to influence and to retain focus.
