At 3Shape we work to improve treatment and diagnostics for dental patients. This is our purpose. We do this by providing innovative scanners and advanced software for the global community of dental professionals.
A great example is our intra-oral 3D scanner that makes it possible to scan a patient without any radiation or discomfort, then digitally design a new tooth using AI and finally 3D print or mill the new tooth – all within an hour. Behind the scenes, the technology is amazing and complex. Yet, for the end-user, the tools and workflows must be intuitive, robust, and fast.For one of our web product teams, 3Shape is looking for a  experienced Digital Product Designer who in close collaboration with the team will explore and define functional and delightful user experiences in the context of a highly optimized workflow and medical devices. You'll join two agile delivery teams as well as the cross-team UX group.You responsibilities will also include
  • Creating engaging and aesthetic designs for products driven by meaningful, in-depth user research.
  • Drive visual standardization across teams as well as documenting UI conventions and best-practices
  • Working closely with product managers and development teams to ensure delivering products of the highest design quality and standards.
  • Take broad conceptual ideas and turn them into meaningful products for people who use our service.
  • Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces.
  • Work through all phases of design and development – from conceptualization to engineering execution and post-launch success tracking and iteration.
  • You will give and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually improve impact.
    • Who are you?
  • You are a skilled UI Designer that can understand and interpret the business, UX and concept requirements into visual outputs that will support the brand values and experience.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a product designer, UI designer, and / or visual designer with knowledge of products at consumer-facing companies.
  • Experience building and shipping products that are broad and ambiguous in scope and encompass end-to-end experiences across a variety of surfaces
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and whitespace and have a track record of finding opportunities few others can.
  • You have impeccable craft proving you are a phenomenal storyteller and communicator.
  • You thrive collaborating with other designers and partnering with product managers, engineers, researchers
    • It is a bonus if you have any of the following
  • Experience with professional productivity applications or medical/dental software.
  • Experience designing based on a Design System/taking direction from or expanding on existing guidelines.
  • Experience with mobile first solutions.
  • You can work independently on creating and executing design for various platforms, but you are also comfortable communicating and presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • You have graphic or motion design experience.
