Strategic UX Designer with mobile UX/UI experience
Can you lead the user experience development within one of our digital self-service domains?
Topdanmark is on a mission to deliver a market leading digital user experience to its customers, by user centric digital design and software. We are proud of our token-based design system, which we believe is a state-of-the-art solution that has proven to help our UX workers and developers work more efficiently and with greater consistency due to its thorough documentation. We believe the best design is achieved from a team effort so you will be able to influence the choices made in our visual design as well. The future of digital insurance is about making insurance simple, helpful, and easy to use. We are therefore looking for a candidate that dares to challenge the way we think and experience insurance in the digital space, by taking a central role in Topdanmark’s digital development organization and User Experience Design. A team consisting of 11 design & user advocates.
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for shaping Topdanmark’s future user experience, by continuously using insights from users & staying on top of the latest design and technology trends. Therefore, we expect you to have the following qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for shaping Topdanmark’s future user experience, by continuously using insights from users & staying on top of the latest design and technology trends. Therefore, we expect you to have the following qualifications:
The ideal candidate has experience with:
- Leading user experience design processes from user insights to a production ready solution
- Initiating and leading creative ideation sessions with multiple stakeholders
- Solved highly complex, highly ambiguous problems
- Turning user experience into business value
- Collaboration with Marketing, Business representatives, Product Managers, and Engineers across teams in a large organization
Furthermore, on a personal level we expect you to have:
- An ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
- Experience with design tools like Sketch or Figma. We work in Figma
- Strong visual mobile and consumer facing app UX/UI design skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Experience from working in Digital agency, start-up or a corporate UX Design team
- Minimum 4 years of experience from and have a degree from design, communication, or IT
If so, your responsibility will be to:
- Facilitate the continuous development of UX roadmap and strategy, along with a plan for iterative updates
- Design, plan, and execute user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to iterate and support design decisions together with UX and development team
- Define and prioritize user goals through user insights, tracking and Voice of customer work
- Create new designs, including user flows, wireframes, mocks, and prototypes
- Work with user journeys, describing customers pains and gains
