Key responsibilities
As a Software Engineer within the Warehouse and Depot Platform,
- You will be a part of Agile teams and help deliver sprint goals.
- You will work to deliver features and enhancements to drive the product owners’ vision in building Warehouse Management System.
- You will collaborate with other team members to derive innovative solutions to complex problems.
- You will embrace emerging technologies and solutions to ensure our online experience continually evolves to deliver functionality that our customers need.

What We are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a background that spans development and operations. We are looking for software engineers with preference for staff with experience writing and maintaining microservices and exposure to cloud native infrastructure like Kubernetes:
As an engineer, you will demonstrate the following characteristics and skills:
- You are a “doer”. You get things done.
- You have excellent communication skills, solid work ethic and an ability to write and support production code
- You have sound knowledge of Java (8 and preferably 11) and a good understanding of TDD programming.
- Experience in developing RESTful microservices with Spring boot.
- Experience working on low latency, highly scalable applications.
- Experience working with databases – PostgreSQL or something similar.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git
- Experience working in Agile projects with a good knowledge of Agile practices
- Experience of Kafka or any other messaging system would be nice to have
- Experience of Kubernetes would be a nice to have
