Do you have a firm understanding of cost and value drivers in health systems? Would you be to lead the real-world evidence strategies, health economics analysis and brand plans for a therapeutic area? Then join our ambitious North West Europe regional office and be part of changing the lives for people living with Rare Diseases! The Position As our new Senior Health Economics (HE) and Evidence Manager, you will be working on value argument strategies for our products within Rare Diseases and cardiovascular diseases, ensuring their market preparedness for upcoming launches. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • To contribute with well-balanced research and publication strategies as well as crisp HE analysis, leading the value argument support of the North West Europe affiliates in their engagement with health care professionals (HCPs), payers, KOLs and decision makers in different markets.
  • To set direction for affiliates by managing critical brand milestones like launches supporting the generation of evidence on burden of disease and translation of the clinical data into payer relevant evidence and arguments, including cost-effectiveness and budget impact analysis.
  • To establish and maintain a solid network within the health care industry, academia and the pharmaceutical industry to further and support strategies.
  • Internally, you will be working with a wide array of stakeholders, from global patient access teams and brand teams to medical affairs teams, regulatory departments and many others.
  • Your contribution will be both impactful and visible throughout our organisation and will provide you with a range of professional and personal development opportunities.
  • For you to properly engage with external stakeholders at conferences and expert panels around the world, about 15-20 travel days a year should be expected. Qualifications You are our ideal candidate if you are motivated to make a difference for people living with chronic diseases and if you:
  • Hold a MSc. or PhD. within Health Economics, Epidemiology or Economics with a minimum of 4 years of experience within RWE and HE value proposition strategies, as well as HE modelling in the health care industry.
  • Have publication experience, while experience within Rare Diseases and/or cardiovascular disease is an advantage.
  • Are analytically strong with a good grasp of the importance and workings of Real-World Evidence and Health Economics, clinical trial work and academic standards within these.
  • Are able to reduce complexity efficiently – pinpointing the great value arguments in complex scientific findings to internal stakeholders, not least in training settings.
  • Have a strong sense of payer evidence trends in Europe and be able to provide relevant challenge to affiliates on reimbursement strategies.
  • About the Department You will be working in the External Affairs department of the Novo Nordisk region North West Europe office, which covers Market Access and Public Affairs across most of the Western European geography. We are responsible for the management of the Rare Disease reimbursement/payer environment. We support the regional affiliates in their engagement of decision makers, payers and end-users, providing the RWE and HE aspects to the value arguments they market.
