We are looking for a Legal Counsel ready to share and grow
BEC needs an additional Legal Counsel with a focus on delivering high quality legal craftsmanship, and who also has solid business understanding.
In Legal & Compliance, we are a Legal team of 6 lawyers, and in addition we are 12 other competent employees divided between our Outsourcing compliance team and GDPR team. We function as a close-knit unit, where the ceiling is high with an extensive degree of freedom under responsibility - adapted to experience and qualifications. We have high spirits, can-do attitude, are welcoming and otherwise passionate about our profession.
Primary tasks and responsibilities
In the position as Legal Counsel, you will work closely with internal as well as external stakeholders. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include being our lead and primary go-to legal in regard to provision of legal assistance to our Procurement team and the business in connection with procurements and subsequent contract/vendor management, including preparation and negotiation of supplier agreements and other cooperation agreements.
We have a buy before build strategy and outsourcing arrangements forms a significant part of our procurement set-up.
Being able to create respectful cooperation and good relationships across the organization by communicating with impact and high credibility is a must.
We are looking for you who love to explore and learn!
Preferably, you have an educational background at Master’s level within law and 3+ years of experience from a similar position working with legal aspects of IT Procurement.

• is a qualified lawyer
• have solid experience with contracts, including drafting and negotiation,
• have experience within IT contracts
• have experience working with legal requirements regarding outsourcing in the financial sector

With colleagues in teams distributed in Denmark and Poland, you must master English and Danish at a high level both in writing and orally.
