Are you an experienced leader with an ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across a complex clinical matrix organisation? If you answer yes to all questions, read on. We are currently looking for our new Director for our Clinical Development Centre Denmark (CDC DK) and we encourage you to apply! The Position As Director of CDC DK, you will have direct line of responsibility for large clinical organisation composed of +30 dedicated employees across Trial Management, Quality & Training, Clinical Trial Administration, Innovation & Implementation, Start-Up etc. As Director for CDC DK, you will have indirect matrix leadership of the nine adjacent affiliates that are part of CDC DK (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland). You will be reporting to Troels Munk Jensen, Senior Director for Clinical, Medical, Regulatory and Safety. Your key responsibilities will be:
  • To deliver on our CDC DK trial performance.
  • Secure timely organisational development (culture, governance, organisation resources).
  • Collaborate, liaise and co-ordinate with Clinical Drug Development in Global (CDD), IO-SO and Region North West Europe to ensure optimal trial delivery.
  • To continuously lead business development and innovation, in close collaboration with NWE, CDC DK and our adjacent affiliates.
  • Qualifications To succeed in this position, you should:
  • Hold a life sciences degree, ideally with a post graduate qualification in research.
  • Have extensive experience of line management of multiple teams and full appreciation for matrix organisations of around 5-10 years.
  • Be structured and interested on process optimisation and project management.
  • Have great communication and influencing skills.
  • The ability to set a vision and execute on plans
  • Experience in a multi-national environment.
  • About the Department Clinical Development Centre Denmark is located in HUB1 in Ørestad, Copenhagen. The team is composed of +30 people, with approximately half working remotely from countries across Europe. CDC DK is connected to nine adjacent affiliates in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland.
