The position One of our current top priorities in Strategic Sourcing is to develop and implement the environmental sustainability strategy, and within this topic engage with stakeholders and develop data management excellence across our unit. As a Sustainability Analyst, you will work closely with your colleagues in a sustainability advisory team of 3-4 people, who together are setting the direction for Strategic Sourcing’s work with suppliers on the sustainability agenda. You will be engaged in various initiatives related to both our social and environmental responsibilities in the collaboration with our suppliers. To deliver on priorities you will be working with a diverse set of stakeholders across Strategic Sourcing, suppliers, other sourcing units and corporate functions. Depending on your skills and preferences you may expect to be involved in: Analysis and project management tasks related to the circular supply tracks of the corporate environmental strategy, Circular for Zero Programme development and analytical activities related to our Responsible Sourcing programme covering ethics, human rights, social, health & safety as well as environmental compliance Improving data foundation for scope 3 emissions reporting and tracking, in collaboration with other functional areas Planning and facilitation of decarbonization workshops with suppliers and internal stakeholders from across the organization Developing various training and communication materials for internal and external use Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to: hold a master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field e.g., supply chain, procurement, business, or engineering have minimum 1 year of relevant experience from working with sustainability or procurement project management, supply chain or business development in an international organization or a consulting company have a passion for sustainability in a corporate setting be fluent in English, both written and spoken be a skilled user of Microsoft Office and have attention to details additionally, you enjoy working in a multicultural and high-pace environment and bring a ‘can-do attitude’ and a healthy sense of humour to your work, even when the pressure is on About the department Strategic Sourcing is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division. We are responsible for ensuring that we have suppliers in place that can support Novo Nordisk’s worldwide pharmaceutical production. Through collaboration with our international suppliers, we ensure availability of the supply needed to develop and produce products that help millions of people around the world to live with chronic diseases. You will be part of the sustainability team within the Strategy & Business Intelligence department, where we drive cross-unit strategies and projects and contribute with value-adding specialist sparring on topics covering quality management, financial advisory, sustainability, commercial and market intelligence, and risk management to the other five departments in Strategic Sourcing. You will enter a thorough, yet fast-paced and ambitious environment, where we collaborate closely with stakeholders inside and outside Strategic Sourcing. You will be located in Bagsværd, Denmark, where 14 competent colleagues in the team look forward to welcoming you.
