The position
As Senior LEAN Partner, you will join our department and be the one - together with our management team - to set the strategic direction for LEAN across our teams at our manufacturing facility. Our facility is currently on a growth journey and LEAN is and will be one of our most essential tools on that journey to ensure a smooth and efficient manufacturing process.
Your main responsibilities will include: Be responsible for setting the LEAN direction and drive the improvements in the way we work alongside your colleagues Inspire and influence people, providing a clear path towards success in our LEAN approach Use LEAN toolbox and teach LEAN courses across Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Support initiatives across the functional area You will be coaching Directors, Associate Managers, Supporters and Operator and will also facilitate systematic problem-solving processes, improvement projects, and value stream mapping. You will be part of a LEAN network across different manufacturing facilities where you will have the opportunity to share knowledge and gain inspiration from others.
One of the positions are half time in Hillerød and half time in Gentofte and the other position is full time in Gentofte.
Qualifications
You will be a great asset to our team because you have: A relevant academic degree within natural sciences or similar A strong LEAN toolbox (e.g., Lean Six Sigma or other relevant education) and/or experience in process optimisation, systematic problem solving, etc Extensive experience in coaching leaders when it comes to change management, providing leadership insights and feedback Experience with tools including Systematic Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, etc., and you have a strong data mind-set Fluent in spoken and written English
On a personal level, you are humble and curious in understanding and optimising processes through shopfloor presence in collaboration with your stakeholders. Your communication skills enable you to coach all types of stakeholders via feedback and reflection sessions. You are eager and enjoy finding new and smarter ways of doing things as well as challenge the current ways of working.
About the department
Our team is part of the Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Denmark Area that is in Gentofte, Hilleroed and Kalundborg. This is where the active ingredients, going into all our life-saving biotech products, are made by app. 500 committed colleagues. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We are producing at full speed in existing facilities, while building and ramping up new state of the art additions to keep up with demand and new Novo Nordisk products. We bring value to patients by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in compliance with GMP.
