Associate Manager for a global operations support team

Then you might be our new Associate Manager for the Moulding Equipment Support team in Device Manufacturing & Sourcing. The position The Moulding Equipment Support team is responsible for decoration equipment, robots, and vision at our global fleet of component suppliers producing plastic components for all prefilled and durable devices. The team is responsible for providing technical standards and support, enabling efficient production sites – producing high-quality components at a high level of efficiency, and at a competitive cost. As an Associate Manager, you will lead, coach, and develop 15 highly dedicated and competent employees. The team has a high level of focus on standardization, right first time, and plan adherence. You will manage the balance of following standards and ensuring quality problem solving and continuously follow up on the team’s performance and manage board meetings to provide a complete overview and coordinate your team tasks. The tasks include solving daily challenges, optimizing core processes, and improving daily performance. Moreover, you work with personal development and competencies, in which training and systematic problem-solving play a crucial role. Your leadership supports a LEAN culture where continuous improvement is a natural part of everyday work. You will report to the Director of Moulding & Quality Support and be a member of the management team consisting of the Director, Department Assistant and five other Associate Managers. You collaborate closely with the management team as well as with other teams in DMS. You play an active role in setting direction for the area and in contributing concerning cross-team initiatives and projects. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you have:

min. Bachelor's education in Natural Science or similar

ideally have 2-3 years of management experience

the ability to inspire and motivate others and empower your team members to deliver excellent results.

Experience from production in GxP-regulated companies would be considered an advantage As a leader, you have a strong LEAN mindset, and the ability to facilitate problem-solving and find the right root causes. Additionally, you are well organized and you approach challenges logically, and you have strong skills concerning communication and collaboration. About the department The department DMS Moulding & Quality Support consists of 85 dedicated engineers and professionals. The department is responsible for maintaining our fleet of moulding-, decoration- and robot equipment, and installing new capacity supporting Novo Nordisk’s global production of prefilled and durable medical pen systems. Device Manufacturing and Sourcing is located in Hillerød where we work closely together with several internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers worldwide of both equipment and moulded components.We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure that new capacity is brought into production in the best way.
