In our mission to connect and simplify customers' supply chains through global end-to-end solutions, we are seeking a Platform Product Owner to join our team in charge of supplier-facing products supporting our Landside transportation business.
Platforms at Maersk are at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technologies to improve the customer / supplier experience with personalized and automated digital journeys.
As part of our team in charge of supplier-facing products supporting our Landside transportation business, the PPO is responsible for defining and prioritising the backlog for our products in collaboration with engineers, developers, functional and business product owners
As a Platform Product Owner, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead the development of functionalities that make a difference for our customers, suppliers, users and business
- Work with world-class technology professionals and take part in the evolution and scaling of the Maersk product offering
- Be at the centre of the company's strategy and have a uniquely placed position between business and technology with the freedom to combine the best of both worlds
- Be part of a team with experienced and dedicated product owners who lift together
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of data engineers and software developers at our Landside Platform on building the next generation supplier interaction and visibility (track & trace) products
- Work across platforms, business, and technology to build and improve Landside transportation products and Supplier Experience
- Build and maintain roadmaps and feature backlogs, including defining requirements for new products and features while optimizing existing functionalities
- As a link between business and technology, develop and apply prioritization frameworks that maximize the value of the products being delivered
- Build strong communication mechanisms with leadership teams, articulating product value through data
Qualifications:
- Customer obsession with a clear track record of delivering elegant solutions for true user problems
- Strong data-driven culture, ability to use data and experimentation to guide the team towards a vision
- Track record of defining and implementing complex and impactful product roadmaps
- Strong communication and influencing skills, both written and oral
- 5+ years of experience in developing and selling digital products
- Experience in developing Transportation Management products or B2B Customer/Supplier interfacing products for high-volume transactions is a plus
- Relevant experience in transportation, supply chain or logistics is a plus
