COWI is a leading consultancy in the energy sector and has a solid position in electrification and the green transition. There is a great demand for COWI's services for energy production based on biomass and waste and power-to-X in Denmark and abroad.

Therefore, we are looking for electrical engineers for support and project assignments at power stations and combined heat and power stations to manage our growing project portfolio and participate in the domestic and global phasing out of coal, oil and natural gas.

As an electrical engineer you will be involved in support/trouble shooting, refurbishments and large power plant projects for our clients in the energy sector. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to become part of the electrification and the green transition.

To succeed in this position, we believe that you should be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal skills in Danish and English.

You have an educational background as an electrical engineer, either at a bachelor's or master's level.You carry an experienced technical profile with great insight and interest in DCS in the energy sector. Also, you have at least 5 years of experience and extensive knowledge of certain electrical components and associated systems as well as a good understanding and knowledge of control systems.

You are used to working in close cooperation with other technical experts as a team, but also on your own. In addition to experience with one or several component types, you have basic knowledge of low-voltage components and plants such as distribution systems, critical power supplies including battery back-up systems, transformers and rotating machines.

Furthermore, you should:

  • Consider yourself an extrovert and are curious
  • Have holistic approach
  • Be good at planning, writing reports and getting the job done
  • Appreciate team-based work and have a positive attitude
  • Be interested in working abroad and in secondments.
