About the department

The Talent Development Centre of Excellence, consisting of Talent Development, Leadership Development and Learning & Development, is a global department with colleagues situated all over the world. We are committed to serving colleagues globally with best-in-class solutions.

This position is anchored in the Digital Learning Team (Learning & Development), where we ambitiously develop cutting edge digital learning solutions for all in Novo Nordisk.

Over the last year we have revolutionized the way we work with digital learning, moving towards a self-driven pull based approach, where we react to the needs and concerns in the Line of Business and create or curate instant support and development.

We have created a modern self-driven digital infrastructure for learning content distribution globally.

We apply the 5DI Design Thinking approach to keep the end user perspective front and centre at all times in close collaboration with the broader Learning & Development Team.

The position

As our new Learning Data Lead you will be the foundation of our decision-making process of what projects and learning solutions to focus on in our daily work. Your main purpose will be to build and curate great digital learning experiences and resources for our colleagues globally as well as enabling our global community of learning professionals to do the same.

It will be your core responsibility to engage with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk on different projects and build digital learning solutions with them. We are working in an agile based methodology to serve the most important tasks first and keep up with the pace of our internal customers.

Furthermore, it will be your responsibility to create a data foundation, which enables us to act on validated learning needs and measure the business outcomes of our Learning & Development initiatives. This will be done by creating and maintaining a data dashboard with sentiment and performance data connecting various data sources and automating the flow.

Qualifications

You bring expertise within Microsoft Office 365 Power Apps and building data intelligence flows from MS365 applications and other BI applications. We imagine that you have experience with connecting data sources (API) and visualizing them in real-time dashboards. You have worked with Learning Technology (LxP, LMS) and designing and curating modern digital learning solutions for end users in a corporate environment and experience with applying the 5Di model or a similar design thinking approach to your learning solutions, products and initiatives is preferred as well as experience from being part of a delivery team, working in an agile setup is considered an advantage.

You enjoy analysing data from multiple sources and identify opportunities of pushing the bar even higher, when it comes to the application of data in our learning solutions and function. You are quick to spot trends and interpret end user needs through data analytics, and you thrive on communicating data to colleagues and stakeholders, and you have the courage to challenge constructively to make impactful learning initiatives and solutions.

You are good at rolling up your sleeves and thrive at getting things done. Following ideas through to implementation is your specialty, and you are passionate about delivering quick and helpful solutions. You have high standards for quality and you strive to continuously improve the team’s ability to rapidly and repeatedly create analytical solutions.

You hold an academic degree within a relevant field and you are fluid in written and oral English.
