The Business Process Architect is responsible for ensuring cohesiveness and design of the operating model including end-to-end process landscape. Not only to sustain and optimise current business but also to develop new business in the area of transactional sales, with a strong focus on a new digital business model and platform. Achievements is measured on great customer experience, efficient and globalised sales processes and support of revenue growth by a digital strategy. You will thus be responsible for shaping activities across multiple functional areas of the Service business to reflect commercial and digital transformation priorities, and you will be a significant contributor to develop and evolve our digital capabilities within our transactional business area.

With reference directly to the Senior Director of Digital Customer Channels & eCommerce, you will work closely together with your colleagues in the team as well as with stakeholders in Global Service Sales, Global Marketing, Procurement, Global IT, Management etc.

You will be part of change management activities and influence the direction of the Transactional Service Sales business and heavily involved from a process and operating model perspective in shaping strategic initiatives across digital customer self-service, eCommerce and future digital platforms business models. Besides, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitate and lead the design process and ensure business alignment of design principles in the operating model to secure scalability, maintainability and supportability of design solutions and business models
  • Ensure process and business model coherence in a cross-functional business model with multiple stakeholders and owners and map operating model processes at an adequate level
  • Ensure leverage of existing Vestas capabilities to increase revenue while lowering the operating cost of sales
  • Define business requirements in Global IT development projects and programs to ensure system workflows
  • Explore and utilise digitalisation opportunities and current Vestas digital business platforms (i.e. Salesforce full suite)

To qualify for the position, we expect you to have a relevant degree combined with 5+ years of experience from a similar role in an international company. Perhaps you are working in service sales in a technical company or a commercial management role with a focus on digital business development or other. Experience with supply chain, contract management, procurement processes and Salesforce is a plus, but not a requirement, but we expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • Global experience with handling sales process change
  • The ability to navigate in large projects with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Experience with digitalisation of sales and customer channels, including eCommerce
  • Great facilitation skills, engaging and inspiring your stakeholders to find new ways and great results
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English, both verbally and in writing

Additional information
Your primary work location will at our office in Aarhus or Copenhagen, Denmark.
Approximately 20-30 days of travel per year is to be expected.
