Do you want to play a vital role in building third generation of the preferred process performance system in Novo Nordisk? We are now looking for a dedicated and passionate Software Developer to support the growing Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) portfolio in Global IT together with the line of business of Novo Nordisk.

About the department

The department Manufacturing IT, Manufacturing Intelligence is focused on optimising the way Operational Technology (OT) and MI systems are developed, implemented and operated across Novo Nordisk. We set the strategic direction within MI technologies and implement global MI solutions by applying some of the newest technologies available. Our team is located in Bagsværd, Denmark and work hand-in-hand with our Product Supply colleagues, meaning that you will get to work closely with the users and technologies that drive our global manufacturing processes forward.

The department is growing fast, and your colleagues in the Manufacturing Intelligence department are working hard to develop, implement and operate the best digital solutions and ensure high impact. The job

As our new RTFD (Real Time Failure Diagnosis) Software Developer you will be a part of a central project team that over the past years has developed and implemented, what has become the preferred process performance information system in Novo Nordisk implemented at 100+ production lines. You’ll have a chance to immerse yourself into not only the tech, but also understand the ins and outs of the business challenge as you engage with the team members as well as internal stakeholders to shape the best solutions. Main tasks of the RTFD Software Developer are:

  • Understanding operational technology production data
  • Preparation and review of master data documentation
  • Support activities and implementation participation
  • Troubleshooting
  • Report building using Alteryx and Tableau
  • Training and knowledge transfer across end users

As the RTFD solution is being developed and deployed at site all over the world, you should expect some travelling as part of the position.

Qualifications

Your academic background is Technician, IT/OT Engineering, MSc., or similar. Ideally you have experience with discrete production and production performance in general. You are familiar with GMP and have experience in structured troubleshooting.

Further you have experience within:

  • SQL programming
  • Master data configuration
  • Other programming languages such as C#, Vue, node.js or other modern languages
  • Cloud knowledge (Azure and AWS)

As a person you are flexible, structured, proactive, self-driven and team oriented. You are eager to learn, and you are curious of nature. As our corporate language is English, we expect you to be fluent both in writing and spoken. It is a plus if you have experience with integrating to various system of records within a corporate environment using different protocols, or have previous experience working in a regulated environment.
