The position
Your overall objective is to develop prototypes and concepts of mechanical solutions that will support us on our future journey. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaboration with mechanical engineers and experts to support design and implementation of prototypes and solutions within processes which today are handled manually.
  • You will be supporting improvements of designs after test interpretation and support that your prototypes will be matured and implemented in our global production network.
  • Integration of automated/mechanical solutions

You are currently studying and working on your bachelor or master’s degree. You have skills and interest within robotic and automation development disciplines and the supporting tech. levers as AI/MI to secure robustness in the proposed concepts/solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a flair for mechanics and is familiar with CAD modelling. As a person you are curious and like to challenge the known with the unknown.

Information about the internship:

  • Internship period: 20 weeks with start in Feb. 2021
  • Working hours: Preferable full time
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish fulltime work permit is required

About Technology Innovation
You will join our great, dynamic Innovation Team within Manufacturing Development in Diabetes Finished Products, Product Supply. Your working place will cover both our Innovation Lab in Bagsværd and our Innovation Hub in Kalundborg. In the Innovation facilities we are developing new concepts, performing analysis and re-design on challenging and wicked problems. Your mission in the team is to invent, improve and design mechanical and automatic solutions in order to reduce operator involvement and to remove repetitive work by i.e. automate work while using robots and other technologies. Besides being a part of our Team, you will work closely together with academics, technicians and external development partners covering a wide range of disciplines. We promise that you will be exposed to exciting professional challenges and development opportunities.
