About the department

Supply Chain QA comprises 9 highly qualified specialists and professionals who are responsible for overseeing the supply chain within Product supply, at Novo Nordisk. The majority of the tasks is divided into two. One being supporting distribution of GxP materials and finished goods withing Product Supply. The other being the handling of quality activities related to our SAP systems.

The job

With this newly established position we are creating a centralised competence centre for the Quality process in SAP. In the role as Global ARSU Chair you will be responsible for ensuring and operating global governance of the QA area across all SVP areas in Product Supply. You will facilitate the implementation of IT as well as process changes to the SAP solution, drive prioritization of system changes from a quality and compliance perspective and participate in the execution of our Agile release Train. In addition to this, you will have the ownership of global SOPs and due process confirmations at implemented sites according to these. You will also be responsible for deviation handling of issues covering multiple production sites.

The work will be in close collaboration with the central person being responsible for the QA master data, who is located in the same department as you. You will also be working closely with the majority of the other SAP Area Responsible Super Users located in our Line of Business (Supply Chain). This position also requires a strong quality mindset and solid process and business understanding.


You hold an academic degree in e.g. chemistry, biology, engineering, pharmacy, or similar and have at least 5 years of relevant experience within quality assurance and/or Supply Chain. Preferable, you have worked within the quality processes with SAP, having strong competences within SAP ECC especially SAP QM to understand and utilise SAP QM in the best possible way. You master English oral and written on a professional level.

You solve complex tasks by constructive communication, based on your professional knowledge and understanding of quality without compromising patient safety. On a personal level you are ambitious and have a great interest in developing yourself and people in your network. As our team is small, you need to be able to serve a large customer base and possess good team player qualities, a good sense of humour and having an understanding of cultural differences are of paramount importance.
