For Schibsted Marketplaces Denmark we are recruiting for a Product Manager. Schibsted operate the number one generalist marketplace (DBA) and motors marketplace (Bilbasen) in Denmark. They also operate Bilinfo, the leading B2B motors sales tool in Denmark. Offices are in Aarhus and Copenhagen.

We are seeking a Product Manager to help us deliver on the mission of building Denmark's strongest trading ecosystem. You will be responsible for defining product strategy, experience design, development, launch, measurement, and iterations. You will be exploring key opportunities for growth, creating a stellar customer experience, and supporting all aspects of the business. You are dynamic, collaborative, and curious as we build new experiences and improve existing products.

As part of the Product Management team, you bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services & product experiences that our users love. You will work with Design, Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, Legal and Finance, to name just a few. If you are passionate about innovative product ideas and believe in the impact of technology and services oriented platforms to delight users and build long term sustainable businesses then you are looking at the right opportunity.

As a Product Manager, You will:

  • Work hands-on with engineering, design, sales and customer service teams to collect and prioritise product inputs.
  • Drive product development from concept to launch and operate in a fast-paced setting using agile methodologies like Dual Track.
  • Engage senior management to align on product vision, strategy, and execution plan.
  • Define and track product metrics to measure results.
  • Be responsible for all product collateral and communications - documentation, announcements, brown-bag and office-hour sessions
  • Engage continuously with users to ensure their success.
  • Have a natural bias for getting things done, decompose complex problems into a product delivery sequence.
  • Have a passion for data driven decision-making while dealing with ambiguity.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong academic record and project management skills
  • 2 years+ of Product Management experience working in a team from the consumer-facing technology, media or online marketplace sectors.
  • Experience in an agile development environment, alongside work within an empowered product team with a high degree of autonomy in decision-making.
  • First hand experience with A/B testing is a plus, comfort in working at a company where data and insights are heavily leveraged in decision making is a requirement.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to meet stakeholders and team members in any of our countries of operation (Denmark, as well as Finland, Norway, Poland and Sweden).

We offer an attractive salary package consisting of base salary and an individual bonus plan. We also offer 6 weeks of vacation after 9 months, training budget, mobile phone and laptop.
