KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

Based in Copenhagen and reporting to Vivino’s Head of Commerce Scandinavia, the Key Account Manager is responsible for adding wine merchants to the Vivino platform.

The successful candidate will recruit and launch online wine merchants on Vivino’s marketplace and help them expand and grow their businesses by partnering with Vivino. The Account Manager will be responsible for delivering new businesses but also to add growth and maximizing revenue generation for existing partners. Driven by traffic- and customer behavior data, the Key Account Manager will also identify opportunities and be part of the merchants developments on the platform.

You’re the right fit for this role if you are a people person and love the challenge of adding and growing businesses to our marketplace. In addition, you also have a strong network in the Danish wine trade and are eager to be a part of taking this entire industry into the future of selling wine.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Add new wine merchants to the Vivino platform
  • Negotiate commission rates with new and existing merchants
  • Organize campaigns with the merchants to drive volume
  • Achieve business and financial objectives and drive the growth of Vivino’s marketplace
  • Identify opportunities to improve the marketplace for all merchants through scalable solutions
  • Analyze data to understand root causes of merchants performance and take actions to accelerate their growth
  • Work closely with the Head of Commerce Scandinavia on market- specific merchant promotions and campaigns through Vivino marketplace
  • Identify and improve both the customer and merchant experience, working closely with other teams within Vivino

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You love sales and growing businesses
  • You have a knack for building trust-based relationships at all levels
  • You have a strong network within the Danish, and preferably Scandinavian, wine trade
  • You have solid background within sales and the world of wine
  • You love the fast-paced environment of a start-up and can prioritize without being overwhelmed
  • You’re self-driven and enjoy working on the run
  • Strong analytical skills and thrives from finding opportunities in data
  • Highly organized and results-oriented

WHAT YOU'VE DONE:

  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience
  • Created a name for yourself within the wine trade in Denmark
  • Worked in CRM-systems like Salesforce
  • Developed a strong business judgment with a proven ability to influence others
  • Previous experience in eCommerce preferred but not essential
  • Been creative in work, found new ways and never stopped because it seemed hard
  • Dreamed about being part of a journey that actually changes the way people enjoy wine
