Tasks & responsibilities: You will…

…be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment for all employees, as well as for making sure that top management is committed to the HSE of the organisation. In this respect, you will support, communicate and report HSE issues to top management, including performing management reviews. You will furthermore be responsible for the management of the local HSE department, and communicate general HSE issues to the local management, the HSE department and the employees. It will be your responsibility to ensure a good, open and developing climate in the HSE department.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Implementing, conducting and assessing safety meetings in the organisation
  • Ensuring compliance with MVOW policy and legal requirements
  • Developing and implementing targets/PIs and “work environment discussions”, as well as following up on performance
  • Assessing risks, opportunities and mitigation regarding HSE
  • Carrying out site inspections and investigating incidents, as well as implementing corrective actions in close collaboration with the line management
  • Managing internal and external HSE audits and ensuring closure of findings
  • Ensuring coaching and development of the safety organisation by providing resources and training for the HSE department, and ensuring that managers and group leads perform safety dialogues
  • Developing, maintaining and testing the efficiency of the emergency response plan

  • Skills & experience: Our new colleague…

    …has a minimum of five years of experience within HSE, and should have a relevant technical or HSE background. You should furthermore have experience with people management, and be a team player with good communication skills.

    We expect that you:

  • Have skills and knowledge about Danish and EU legislation
  • Possess knowledge of risk assessment and management systems
  • Have experience with investigation of accidents
  • Are fluent in Danish and English, both written and oral
  • Have general IT understanding and knowledge
  • Are positive and professionally competent in finding solutions
  • Possess the ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks on a daily basis
  • Are open and welcoming, as well as able to understand and respect cultural differences
