You will join BEUMER Group and our team in Aarhus consisting of 5 account assistants, 2 financial controllers as well as 15 project controllers and finance managers who are ready to offer professional support and feedback in an international work environment.

Your taskswill be divided into general controlling tasks in the Operations Division, and as a key user in our global SAP implementation team with the primary focus within Supply Chain and logistics. You will be working both locally and internationally to ensure that our SAP controlling solution has one standardised process throughout BEUMER Group.

The Operations Division in BEUMER Group A/S is in total employing more than 350 people, including software, Planning & Procurement and Product Design & Engineering, making it the largest of our five divisions in Aarhus.

Supply Chain & Operations controlling
Your tasks will include:

  • developing our tools and concepts for finance controlling in the Operations Division
  • ensuring financial transparency (cost monitoring, budget review meetings with the project team and forecasts)
  • supporting the project managers proactively in risk identification and mitigation
  • participating in internal project review meetings
  • Product and cost controlling within the supply chain area

Ensure implementation of SAP processes
Your tasks will include:

  • Test the solutions, ensuring functionality
  • Migrate data from our old BaaN system to SAP S/4HANA
  • Document all processes
  • Develop training materials and educate our future SAP superusers in Denmark and Germany

The SAP implementation project is global. Therefore, you should expect a certain amount of travelling, approximating to a maximum of 40 days per year.

Build your network in an international environment
You will be based in Aarhus and in daily contact with the respective departments in the operations division, as the key finance resource on project and product finances. Typically, you will be involved in multiple customer projects at the same time. Thus, you will have a varied work day that provides opportunities to build your network in an international environment and give you the opportunity to further develop your role.

It is very important that you are committed, structured and responsible. You have to be able to drive your own tasks until completion. Furthermore, you:

  • Have 3+ years of experience as a supply chain controller, working in SAP within the areas of product costing, production variance analysis and goods movement FI/CO integration.
  • You have a good IT understanding and are a competent user of Microsoft Excel and VBA.
  • You hold a M.Sc. in Business Administration or Commercial Economics, e.g. equivalent to the Danish cand. merc., cand. oecon., cand. merc. aud., or a Danish HD
  • Speak Danish and English fluently. Speaking German is an advantage

In this role, it is important that you can take an analytical approach to your tasks. You think creatively and work structured when it comes to developing tools and controlling concepts. Also, you need to be able to reflect upon and be willing to challenge the financial estimates. And in terms of stakeholder management, it is essential that you have great networking skills and can be persistent to get the right results.
