Business- and Financial Controller

Does business support, financial analyses, identifying areas of improvement, reliable reporting and working in an international atmosphere make your day? Then you might be our next Controller.

We are looking for an ambitious new colleague with a high energy level and a sharp analytical mindset to do controlling of 3-4 of our subsidiaries, and to be the controller for our RD department with close to 100 employees. We expect you to do business partnering activities focusing on giving colleagues financial insight and create value by challenging the status quo.

What is the job about?

  • Controlling and support to subsidiaries
  • Controller and support to the R&D department
  • Participate in month and year-end closing
  • Monthly forecasts process
  • Participate in the budgeting process.
  • Ad hoc analyses and tasks such as input to transfer price documentation, develop Excel and Power BI reports, KPI reporting etc.

Besides working closely with the CFO and controller colleagues, cooperation will mainly be internally by business partnering activities related to colleagues in subsidiaries / Markets / R&D and HQ functions.

To be a success, we imagine that you:

  • Have a HD(R), Cand. Merc. or equivalent.
  • The ideal candidate has 5+ years’ experience from a similar position, but if you have the right attitude and personality as a graduate – this could be your chance.
  • You have outstanding skills using tools such as Excel and BI – preferably Power BI. You are familiar with a known ERP application, experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • You are analytical, have a strong drive and you are an excellent finisher with a high level of credibility, integrity and quality.
  • You are outgoing, building relations and dare to challenge the status quo.

Practicalities:

  • You have outstanding skills using tools such as Excel and BI – preferably Power BI. You are familiar with a known ERP application, experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • You speak and write English effortlessly.
  • You live within one hour’s drive from SKOV headquarters or is willing to relocate.
