International License Officer



On behalf of CEGO A/S, Randstad is looking for a License Officer to obtain and/or maintain licenses in new European markets. If you are experienced in effective communication with external and internal stakeholders and authorities, you might just be the profile we are looking for.

About the job


As a License Officer, you will become part of a team of dedicated specialists in the Group Compliance and Legal department. The department plays an important role in ensuring our gambling licenses and agreements with the authorities in given countries.

The License Officer will be responsible for one or more countries with regard to obtaining and/or maintaining a license in the given country. In that role, you will become the foremost expert on a given jurisdiction, but will of course be supported by the rest of the Compliance and Legal team in areas that span the entire group. Areas such as IT security, GDPR, Responsible Gaming, marketing law, and AML.

As a License Officer, you will take a deep dive into a license regime and the associated areas of law and set up a generic system based on the experiences gathered throughout the application process in order to ease the process of future license applications in new countries.

The job will include the following tasks:
• Project management, due diligence and KYC
• Effective communication with external and internal stakeholders and authorities
• Explaining regulatory requirements to the organization and help facilitate and advise on changes to manage set requirements
• Setting up agreements with external stakeholders
• Assisting in certifications and audits as required by the given licensing regime

Your qualifications as a candidate:


We imagine a candidate having an educational background within legal studies such as MA (Laws) (cand.jur.), MSc (Business Administration and Commercial Law) (cand.merc.jur.), or similar. The candidate has professional experience in working with compliance, and due to an international background, the candidate has excellent verbal and written English skills. Furthermore, it is essential that the candidate is able to work in a sometimes hectic and chaotic environment. Therefore, it is important that you are able to work independently and in a structured way.
