Business Intelligence Specialist to high-end, international Marine group

At Emerson’s Marine Solutions group in Næstved, which is the headquarter of 560 employees worldwide, you will be part of the Digital Business Platforms team. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will have the chance to dig into the processes, people, and tools and all the data that are constantly being generated through various tools and channels. You will have the chance to lead cross-organization projects and collaborate with different cultures in different world areas.

You will be reporting to Nicolai Werngreen, Manager, Digital Business Platforms.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Create interactive, insightful dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Azure services to support business decision-
making and automate reporting processes

• Ensure accurate and timely data collection from multiple sources, manage ETL processes, and maintain centralized
data repositories

• Perform ad-hoc analyses, identify trends and anomalies, and provide actionable insights to guide strategic and
operational decisions

• Track KPIs and benchmarks to assess business performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and growth

• Assist in identifying and resolving data quality issues and provide clarity on anomalies found in reports or datasets

• Train stakeholders on BI tools, translate business needs into technical specifications, and foster a data-driven culture

• Advocate for best practices in data management, ensuring security, scalability, and integrity across BI platforms

• Act as a subject matter expert in BI/data within cross-functional projects, offering insights and recommendations to
support business goals.

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s Degree in economics, information technology, business administration. or equivalent work experience
• Previous proven experience within Business Intelligence, Business Analytics or relevant areas
• Flexible, well organized, and forward-thinking
• Able to work in an autonomous manner and to take initiatives
• Proficiency in Danish and English
