The position can be either in Søborg or AalborgDo you want to turn complex clinical data into decisions that can improve the lives of millions? As a Senior Statistician at [xxxxx], you will shape trial design and strategy within Obesity and Cardiometabolic Health, working as a trusted scientific partner across global project teams and external stakeholders.Your new roleAs a Senior Statistician, you will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering high‑quality statistical contributions across clinical trials and cross‑trial activities within Obesity and Cardiometabolic Health. You will act as a trusted scientific partner to project teams and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Driving statistical input to clinical trial design, including protocol development and sample size calculations
  • Preparing and maintaining Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and providing input to trial‑related documentation
  • Interpreting, communicating and reviewing trial results, including Clinical Study Reports and manuscripts
  • Contributing statistical expertise to regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities
  • Contribute to the cross-project scientific strategy on relevant statistical methods including evaluating competitor results and statistical strategies, new methods and regulatory requirements. Provide data driven and model-informed drug development across projects.

To succeed in this role, you bring:
  • An MSc in Statistics or equivalent, with at least 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or clinical development settings
  • In‑depth knowledge of biostatistical methods and their practical application in drug development
  • Experience with statistical software and strong understanding of GCP and regulatory guidelines
  • Proven ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to both statisticians and non‑statisticians
  • A structured, self‑driven and accountable way of working, combined with strong analytical skills
