ERP Consultant in Business Systems | Global IT at Novo Nordisk Engineering

Do you enjoy working at the intersection of finance processes and technology? And do you take pride in building, configuring, and improving ERP solutions that support large, complex engineering projects?
Then this might be the role for you.

Who we are

We are a leading pharma engineering company shaping the future of API pharma engineering globally. Leveraging the expertise of 2,000+ employees across Denmark, India, and the US, we design, build and optimise pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are essential to the health and well-being of patients everywhere.

Our success is driven by passion, innovation, and collaboration — with our customers and across our teams and disciplines. If you share our dedication to a noble cause and our passion for API pharma engineering, then [xxxxx] is the place for you.

About the role

We are operating Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across Denmark, with rollouts pla[xxxxx]d in India and the US. To support this journey, we are looking for a ERP Consultant to join our Business System Team in Global IT.

You will play a hands-on role in roll outs, continuously improving, supporting, and operating our D365 Finance platform. Working closely with Finance stakeholders, IT colleagues, and external partners, you will help translate business and finance needs into well-functioning, scalable technical solutions.

Our team operates at the intersection of finance processes, ERP technology, and the people who depend on them. We are moving from a dispersed IT landscape to a unified Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations platform, implementing template-based rollouts for local compliance, and replacing legacy systems. Quality, stability, and continuous improvement are central to our work, ensuring [xxxxx]’s financial platform stays robust and efficient for future needs.

  • Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical solutions, including configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting within D365 Finance.
  • Drive automation initiatives and AI-enabled improvements, and platform optimization, while also participate in ongoing operational activities

Who you are

We care about who you are as a person. In the end, how you work, and your energy is what impacts the results we achieve as a team. As a person, you will:

  • Take pride in delivering high-quality solutions and enjoy working hands-on with both configuration and problem-solving
  • Have a structured and analytical mindset and are comfortable navigating complex finance and ERP landscapes
  • Enjoy collaborating with stakeholders across finance, IT, and external partners
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, even when discussing technical topics with non‑technical colleagues
  • See continuous improvement as a natural part of the job and are motivated by making systems work better over time

What you bring to the role

In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role:

  • 2–4 years of ERP experience, as a functional consultant or solution architect, including hands-on work with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and at least one implementation or major rollout
  • A solid understanding of D365 F&O configuration, and finance processes with hands-on experience
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, and confidence working across business and technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Finance, Engineering, or other relevant combinations
