AI-Native Product Engineer to join an ambitious AI-first fintech company based in central Aarhus, Denmark. Aleta is building a next-generation wealth platform and is at the forefront of redefining how software is developed – with AI as a core foundation. The company is moving from “AI as an assistant” to Agentic Engineering, where autonomous agents increasingly handle refactoring, testing, and implementation, while humans focus on intent, orchestration, and product vision.As an AI-Native Product Engineer, you will act as the architectural anchor for Aleta’s frontend transition. Your primary mission is to lead the strategic move to TypeScript/React – combining a holistic product focus with an AI-first mindset. Rather than a traditional migration, the task is to reimagine the frontend architecture: building the guardrails that enable a digital workforce of AI agents to deliver world-class UI/UX.Your focus will be on orchestrating frontend engineering. While remaining hands-on where it matters, the primary value lies in architectural judgment, product intuition, and quality assurance. You will work closely with the Principal AI Architect to ensure frontend and backend evolve as one coherent AI-first system.
Your Mission: From Construction to Orchestration The future of frontend development at Aleta is about combining deep product intuition with an Agent-Ready Architecture. The goal is to create systems so clear and standardized that AI agents can autonomously deliver code, while you act as the primary guardian of simplicity, consistency, and user experience.Success in this role is measured not by the amount of code written personally, but by the ability to structure work so AI agents can generate, iterate, and ship high-quality software. In practice, this often involves orchestrating multiple AI agents in parallel, enabling features, tests, and refactors to be developed simultaneously.
Your Key Responsibilities are centered around the following: Core Ownership: The AI-First FoundationEstablish frontend standards using TypeScript and React, focusing on explicit contracts and strict typing Define and protect product integrity, UX, and simplicity Continuously verify architectural integrity, functional correctness, and product quality Strategic Collaboration & OrchestrationCollaborate closely with the Principal AI Architect on contracts and schemas Lead the evolution of the design system to support AI-driven development Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap alignment with C-level stakeholders Structure work for agent-oriented development Mentorship & Engineering CultureOwn and enforce frontend architectural standards (incl. ADRs) Mentor developers and raise the bar for engineering quality Identify and remove technical bottlenecks to increase velocity and quality
Who we are looking for A product-minded engineer who thrives in structuring systems and workflows that enable AI agents to build software efficiently.
You likely have experience in modern TypeScript ecosystems, but your key strength is translating complex business needs into clear architectural structures for both humans and AI.You have a strong eye for UI/UX and naturally take on the role of a “Product Guardian,” ensuring simplicity and quality in a complex domain. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and rethinking architecture in an AI-first world.
