This is a hands-on opportunity to develop your financial and analytical skills while contributing to real business decisions.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Supporting monthly performance reporting, budget and forecast processes by preparing and validating data, building models, and translating findings into clear messages for stakeholdersPreparing and maintaining recurring reporting files, dashboards, and KPI trackers to ensure data accuracy and up-to-date insightsCollecting and structuring input from sales, operations, and procurement teams for reporting and planning purposesContributing to ad-hoc projects such as business cases, procurement savings tracking, scenario analyses, and process improvementsCreating clear management materials (slides, one-pagers) that explain performance drivers and key messagesSupporting the implementation of analytics tools and automation (e.g., Excel/Power Query, Power BI) to improve efficiency and data qualityMaintaining structured documentation of templates, analyses, and key files to enable efficient reuse across the teamYour new departmentThe Finance and Operations department at [xxxxx] Denmark, located in Ørestaden, Copenhagen, provides comprehensive financial support and analytical services to the Danish and Icelandic sales affiliates. The team operates with ambition and efficiency, maintaining a consistently high pace while fostering an open, collegial environment.Your skills & qualificationsWe're looking for a Finance Student Assistant with strong analytical skills who can communicate complex analysis in a simple way and isn't afraid to support new ad-hoc tasks. You'll bring with you:Current enrolment in a university programme (Bachelor's or Master's), preferably within Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data/Business Analytics, or a related fieldSolid Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas) and willingness to learn BI and planning toolsAnalytical mindset with the ability to work comfortably with numbers, identify patterns, and check data reasonablenessStrong attention to detail and accuracy when handling datasets, assumptions, and presentation materialsExcellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), with the ability to turn analyses into crisp key messages and executive-friendly materialAbility to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines, especially around reporting and forecasting cyclesCollaborative approach with curiosity about the business and motivation to understand stakeholder needsWorking at [xxxxx]Every day we seek the solutions that defeat serious chronic diseases. SalaryThis position is hourly paid. For this position, the hourly base rate is 205.17 DKK, based on an assessment of relevant factors such as experience, educational background, demonstrated competencies, and the specific skills required for the position. In addition to the hourly base rate, Student Assistants are entitled to a pension scheme (currently 10% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution).Deadline
