You will design our global media strategies, safeguard a smooth global execution, shape the Milestone Global PR and messaging playbook, and pitch stories to the press. Internally, you will work closely with our leadership teams, key stakeholders, public affairs team, and many more, focusing on the overarching objective to expand Milestone’s share of voice and reach globally.
It is a role with a high degree of responsibility, independency, loads of opportunities as well as challenges.   • Strategy: Develop Milestone’s Global PR strategy, affirming a positive perception of the Milestone brand, corporate reputation and overall data-driven video technology.
  • Building relationships: Identify and build relationships with key media.
  • Content production: Produce press releases and bylined articles, placing Milestone's products, people and philosophies within key business and tech publications. Prepare briefings for media interviews, speeches, and presentations.
  • Risk management: Maintaining an awareness of company risks and threats including the development of crisis and social media platform management.
  • Reporting: Monitor, track and report on PR results and activities.
  • Budget: Estimate, allocate and manage budget for PR activities.

    You will be part of Milestone’s Global Communications team consisting of 15 skilled, friendly and hard-working colleagues from around the world. You will be reporting directly to our VP of Communication and work at our headquarters in Copenhagen. Some travel activity can be expected.

  • Extensive experience in PR and media roles within a global company. It is a big plus if you also have a deep understanding of the tech industry, its challenges and dynamics.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in collaborating with external agencies.
  • A strategic mindset and high level of business acumen with the ability to think ahead and align communication efforts with the overall business and organizational objectives.
  • Crisis communication:Experience in crisis and issue management with an ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
  • Prioritization:Able to adapt to a dynamic business environment while effectively prioritize tasks and show initiative.
  • Independency: High level of autonomy coupled with professionalism and a proactive approach.
  • Experience in handling HQ communications as well as understanding regional communications needs.
  • A no-nonsense, can-do attitude combined with at strong, professional yet informal approach and able to work strategically as well as operationally.
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a team-player, collaborating with multiple different stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Danish and English.
