Junior IT Consultant (Student)

Position overview

As part of our IT team, you will play a key role in administering and maintaining our Atlassian tools — primarily Jira, including workflow design and configuration — as well as keeping our SharePoint Online intranet running smoothly. You will work with process automation in Microsoft Power Automate to streamline everyday tasks and business processes. As we are a smaller team, you will also occasionally participate in broader project work, such as infrastructure development and IT security. The role requires a service-oriented mindset and good communication skills, as you will collaborate closely with the wider organization.

Throughout your day, you can expect to be:

• Design and maintain Jira and jira workflows
• Ensure correct and efficient configuration of Atlassian products
• Work with process automation in Microsoft Power Automate
• Ensure our Intranet is working smoothly (SharePoint Online)
• Service oriented and enjoy communication with the wider organization

About you
You have the drive and the ability to soak up new knowledge, and you are not afraid to test your knowledge on brand new technologies. You can take unpolished work and return it working according to the standards with a smile on your face. You have a natural interest for IT, and you can take your technical knowledge and explain it patiently to non-technical end users.

• You are service-minded and positive by nature
• You have the capacity to learn and adapt quickly
• You are solution-oriented and like to communicate IT across different stakeholder groups
• You must be enrolled in a relevant field of study, probably IT or engineering, and have at least 2 years left of your education
