Learning Lab facilitates the Fabo Learning Community that currently consists of 30 member organisations worldwide (you can read more on fabo.org). Fabo is a customised learning platform, built on top of Moodle, an open-source learning management system. This internship will provide you with a unique opportunity to work hands-on with digital learning technologies, support the development of an online learning platform, and explore how emerging tools such as AI can strengthen knowledge sharing and capacity development across international organisations.

Support the further development and use of AI for the Fabo.org community and internally in the Learning Lab. Support the development of learning hubs and dedicated learning pages on the Fabo platform for DCA departments and regional/country offices (e.g., East Africa, Nepal). Contribute to improvements on the Fabo website, which is built on WordPress. Support our communications efforts, including updates, newsletters, and internal/external messaging. Depending on your background, experience, and motivation, you may also contribute to visualising and creating interactive learning experiences, graphics, or other digital learning materials. Turning different types of content into guides and templates for the Fabo community and DCA work. Other administrative assignments and ad hoc tasks as needed. If you have any other relevant competences, we are very open to get those into play as well.
