We always increase our focus on innovative software solutions for heat and water utilities and we are therefore looking for a Technical Product Manager for our hardware products in our Product Management team.
With direct reference to our Head of Technical Product Management, you will become part of a team of 7 highly dedicated technical product specialists dealing with communication technologies, infrastructure components, and software. The team has a high group dynamic and is in close collaboration with many functional areas in the company all with the shared goal of developing the best possible products and solutions for our customers. We strive to be leading in the area, are enthusiastic about technologies and you will be in an environment of high energy and curiosity about developing new solutions.
A job with a focus on wireless technologies and product development
As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of communication products. You will act as a link between Product Management and Technology Hardware while utilizing the latest wireless technologies. You will have a key role in uncovering how to take advantage of standards used for communication with wireless technologies like NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, wM-Bus. As an expert in wireless communication technologies, you will be a valued partner, and therefore a part of your job will also be to share this knowledge in the organization as well as with customers. Furthermore, you will represent Kamstrup in national and international groups and networks related to standardization in the technical area.
In addition, you will be responsible for:
You will have around 10-15 travelling days a year.
Your personality is important to us
We imagine that you have a technical background as Engineer, Marine Engineer, Global Business Engineer, or similar and have at least 5 years of experience, which has given you solid knowledge within wireless communication and standardization. You have a passion for working with standardization and have worked with wireless communication technologies such as NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, wM-Bus, and similar.
As a person, you thrive in an outgoing role, and you are excellent at creating relations across the organization. You can relate to our customer’s needs for solutions and use your knowledge about standardization to implement competitive solutions for both customers and Kamstrup. Your technical capabilities combined with your communication skills allow you to translate complex technical solutions into a business context, which is easy to relate to for customers and internal stakeholders. In addition, you deliver on your agreements and work in a structured manner when solving tasks, which is why it is natural for you to keep an overview in a busy work environment with several ongoing projects.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken Danish and English.

- Converting requirements from standards into product specifications
- Utilizing standardization in our communication-products
- Act as an internal expert on wireless communication technologies
- Building up a strong application understanding to specify communication requirements
- Entering into dialog with customers so that they get the most value from our solutions
- Product training, technical documentation, and customer support
