In this role, you will join the Group Tax team and report to Peter Sunddal, Head of Group Tax. You will work closely with finance teams, external advisors, and business stakeholders across the organization, taking a central role in owning and developing key tax compliance and reporting processes across the group while contributing to broader international tax initiatives.
This position is ideal for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is motivated to take ownership of core tax compliance processes, while driving improvements in how compliance is executed through enhanced governance, standardization and scalable processes in an international tax environment.
Your key responsibilities- Preparation of the Danish tax calculations and joint taxation
- Central point of expertise for corporate income tax compliance and assessments, including review of local tax reporting and supporting local finance teams to strengthen quality and consistency
- Leading and developing group tax compliance and reporting processes, with a strong focus on strengthening governance and controls
- Driving the ongoing handling and assessment of Pillar 2 across the group
- Delivering high-quality tax data and analysis to support decision-making as well as management and board-level reporting
- Taking a central role in shaping and developing public tax reporting
- Actively managing and directing external advisors, including defining scope, aligning expectations and ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables
- Supporting local finance teams in tax audits and interactions with tax authorities, ensuring consistent and high-quality handling of audit matters
- Monitoring new legislation and relevant tax developments and assessing implications for the group
- Opportunity to be involved in M&A activities and other ad hoc projects.

On top of that, you will have:
- A degree in finance, economics, tax law, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with corporate tax and tax compliance, preferably from a Big4 firm and/or a multinational company.
- A strong technical foundation in corporate income tax and tax compliance processes, with the ability to assess and challenge tax positions
- Solid understanding of tax processes, controls and governance frameworks
- Familiarity with or interest in Pillar 2 and international tax developments
- Experience managing tax audits and engaging with tax authorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly to non-tax stakeholders.
- Proficient English skills, both written and spoken.
