About the department Due to an increasing portfolio we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Secondary Packaging team based in Hillerød, Denmark. The team has responsibility to oversee and execute a portfolio of process and product related projects. As one of 5 Project Managers, you will be supporting the wider Device Manufacturing Development team. Your key role is to safeguard the secondary packaging for our medical devices and combination products marketed by Novo Nordisk. To do so, you will work in close collaboration with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, global production sites and affiliates. This is an exciting role which offers the opportunity to lead projects and facilitate consensus among multiple stakeholders, both at global and local levels. The Position As Project Manager in Product Maintenance, you will have responsibility for several projects:
  • Leading international project teams of highly skilled engineers and specialists, responsible for maintenance and updating secondary packaging for our launched drug delivery systems.
  • Driving project teams in the post-launch phase of our medical drug product pipeline, and ensuring on time delivery against key milestones
  • Manage a wide range of stakeholders to ensure effective project execution by achieving the right balance between internal requirements and external regulations
  • Providing direction on process optimization projects to support organizational strategy.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our everyday work as well as more tactical initiatives.
    • Ultimately as Project Manager you will initiate, execute and finalize projects within our project framework. Critically being the link between the workgroups, steering groups, project owners, project governance and key stakeholders. You’ll also have the opportunity to occasionally travel oversea (around 5 days per year). Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to have:
  • Bachelor degree in business, economics, engineering or any other relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years practical project management experience within a regulated industry (e.g. pharmaceutical, medical devices, food, automotive, aerospace industries).
  • Experience of project reporting and applying project methodology (i.e. classical gate approach).
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
    • It would be considered as plus (but not a prerequisite) if you:
  • have previous experience with secondary packaging.
    • On a personal level you will be a confident, dynamic and driven person with the ability to independently manage several projects at the same time. Being approachable you enjoy collaborating with others and bring a healthy sense of humour to your work, even when the pressure is on. Using your strong communication skills you will be able to clearly set direction and drive performance across all levels of the business. Ensuring quality and speed whilst challenging the status-quo through your curiosity and adopt a pragmatic approach when required. The ability to balance conflicting inputs by respecting and including others opinions is also a key aspect of this role.
