About the position
About the position
We are seeking a motivated and committed intern to support the advocacy work of our Palestine Country Office and joint advocacy campaigns. The internship offers an opportunity to contribute to human rights-based advocacy related to Palestine, working closely with the advocacy team.
The intern will support research, trends analysis, coordination, communications, and project management tasks, contributing to campaigns and policy engagement at the global level.

  • Support advocacy, policy and research work related to Palestine, including trends analysis and background research
  • Contribute to campaign and country-specific messaging and policy development
  • Assist with research for reports, briefing notes, and advocacy tools
  • Support day-to-day project management, including planning and preparation of meetings, workshops, and events
  • Assist engagement and coalition-building efforts with civil society networks and partners across European capitals
  • Support communications, press, social media, and campaign activities to maximise visibility and outreach
  • Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities
  • Proofreading, light translation, and other ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed

  • Knowledge of the context in Palestine and Israel, including the latest political and humanitarian developments
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information
  • Ability to use social media platforms for communications, and campaigns
  • Experience with document-sharing platforms (e.g. Google Drive, SharePoint) and project management tools (e.g. Trello or similar)
  • Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Attention to detail, particularly in writing, editing, and proofreading
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an international team

    Please note: This internship is unpaid and must be undertaken as part of an ongoing university curriculum, based on a framework agreement with a university institution.
