About the role

We are looking for a new HSE Lead to join our busy Health, Safety and Environmental department.

We can provide an excellent opportunity to either be the next step in your career as an experienced HSE Lead or fulfill your desire to learn and become an excellent HSE Lead.

In [xxxxx] an HSE Lead is responsible for ensuring that all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability aspects are handled in our design projects – Both large and small, complex as well as simple. The Lead, being the “spider in the web”, contributes with their own core skills and includes other colleagues when relevant.

The HSE Lead focuses solely on the project design - Preparing the facilities for a healthy, safe, and environmentally friendly operation. HSE topics related to the construction site are covered by our Site HSE department and is not in scope for this position

As an HSE Lead, you’ll be part of a department of 45 HSE professionals where you’ll be:

• Coordinating HSE activities for small or large teams of HSE professionals
• Facilitating workshops and meetings with project stakeholders
• Conducting HSE screenings and assessments
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Collaborating with the customers end-users and representatives within HSE

What you bring to the role

• A technical or academic background
• Relevant experience with Health, Safety and Environment related work
• You have specific HSE competences to offer
• Experience in the life science/biotech industry
• You speak and write Danish and English fluently
