Senior Project Manager, Risk & Compliance Portfolio in Group PMO

Join Saxo's newly established Risk & Compliance Portfolio in Group PMO and help shape and deliver some of the bank's most critical projects. The portfolio plays a central role in protecting Saxo's license to operate by driving the execution of regulatory, compliance and risk-related projects across the organisation. As a team, we are known for execution excellence, strong stakeholder partnerships and the ability to drive complex change across Saxo.

In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of complex cross-functional projects and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the organisation. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, helping translate complex regulatory, risk and operational challenges into clear priorities, actionable plans and tangible outcomes.

The position is based in Copenhagen (HQ), with limited travel expected. Physical presence will be required. Relocation will not be provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex, high-impact Risk & Compliance projects across the organisation
• Own project governance, planning, risks and reporting, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout delivery
• Drive cross-functional stakeholder alignment and support clear decision-making in complex environments
• Translate complex regulatory, risk and operational matters into actionable plans and clear communication
• Navigate urgency, ambiguity and competing priorities while maintaining momentum and delivery focus

Your profile

You are an experienced Project Manager who thrives in environments characterised by urgency, complexity and high business impact.

You combine strategic acumen with strong tactical execution and a flair for operational efficiency. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving momentum and creating structure where direction is not always clear.

You build credibility quickly and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across all levels of the organisation - from senior management to subject matter experts and delivery teams. You communicate clearly, challenge constructively and know how to translate complex regulatory, risk and operational challenges into actionable plans and tangible outcomes.

You are proactive, resilient and motivated by solving critical challenges in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and no two projects are the same.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of project management experience delivering complex projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience driving cross-functional initiatives in complex organisations
• Experience within regulatory, compliance, risk, governance or remediation-related initiatives is an advantage
• Experience from the financial sector or another highly regulated industry is a plus
• Strong command of project planning, governance and reporting tools
• Excellent facilitation skills
