Therefore, we are looking for a Linux Specialist to join our Core IT Services team.
With a direct reference to our Core IT Team Lead, you will become part of our internal IT organization, which enables all Kamstrup employees in their daily work. Our IT department consists of 60+ dedicated colleagues supporting Kamstrup globally. You will join a grounded, tech-savvy team that is characterized by mutual respect, professionalism, and collaboration. The team prioritizes knowledge-sharing in a fast-paced work environment, and is looking for equal-minded colleagues who like having fun along the way. More specifically, you will become a key player in our team of infrastructure specialists as our new Linux Specialist.
A job with focus on supporting business-critical systems and professional growth
In the position as Linux Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage the infrastructure and ensure high-performance operations of our Linux servers. You will play a key role in contributing to the implementation, standardization, optimization, and preventive maintenance of our Linux platform, covering clients and servers. Furthermore, you will work closely with colleagues in our infrastructure team providing support and expertise, collaborating to integrate Linux systems with other technologies and services within Kamstrup.

We are looking for a talented and tech-savvy Linux Specialist with a strong desire to take their capabilities to the next level. This position has many entry points, as we highly value general experience with managing large-scale Linux servers and complex infrastructure. However, we imagine you have an educational background within IT or similar.
It is an advantage if you have experience with the following technologies:
As a person, you are ambitious and have a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving. You take initiative and have the courage to challenge status quo. You thrive in a complex organization, and your communication skills enable you to navigate successfully with many stakeholders, deadlines, and timelines. As you will be working closely together with colleagues, we imagine that you prefer collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Danish will be an advantage.

- Managing the infrastructure of +225 Linux servers
- Managing and supporting our Linux clients
- Supporting and advising the business within the Linux platform
- Creating Linux developer laptop templates and management
- Installing, optimizing, and documenting solutions, processes, procedures, standards, and training material related to Linux.
- Contributing to security management, auditing, and carrying out corrective actions.
