The position As a Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be taking the lead on setting-up and defining the critical supply chain elements within medical device production to support new and exciting product launches.
Your key tasks and areas of responsibility may be summed up as: Define logistic and warehouse strategies and execute on the agreed strategies. Implementation of new suppliers. Determine supply-chain safety-stock levels, batch sizes etc. Establish communication flow, and roles and responsibilities, ensuring a robust process setup. Training and handover to operations
In this position, you will be part of a major expansion project with high ramp-up focus and an international and complex stakeholder landscape. You will also work closely across internal departments such as IT, sourcing, warehousing, and Quality Assurance (QA) to guarantee a reliable supply chain. The work will have a direct impact on future launches and delivery of our new products in Novo Nordisk to the benefit of our patients. As supply to our production will become an integrated and critical element of our business, it is crucial to establish close collaboration with suppliers in order to build a robust supply chain.
Qualifications In order to be successful in this role, we imagine you have the following qualifications: Hold a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or similar relevant field Possess at least 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience obtained within a regulated industry Have previous experience with Project Management, ideally experience setting up processes or standards. Fluent in English both written and spoken

Apart from having strong communication and stakeholder management skills, you are proactive in your daily work and able to manage your own time. You enjoy challenges and figuring out solutions to apply structure. About the area You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for the facilities of the future, designing factories and processes we will still be proud of 20 years from now. About the department Novo Nordisk is significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity across all areas to serve many more patients in the coming years. To this end, a new Device Manufacturing & Sourcing business unit (DMS II) has recently been created to ensure medical device component manufacturing and pre-assembly capacity for future growth. In the years to come, we are focused on establishing a new global manufacturing network consisting of Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and high-volume manufacturing capacity internally. Our DMS II organisation has just started its growth journey, and this is a unique chance to be part of a start-up environment within a large multinational organisation.
