As Head of Discipline for Water and Climate Adaptation, you will be responsible for staffing projects based on employees’ professional skills and development goals, in close collaboration with other managers across
[xxxxx]. In this role, you will lead a team characterized by a high level of well-being. Therefore, we expect you to work purposefully to ensure employee motivation and continued development.
Reporting to Thomas Engelund Friis, Head of Engineering, you will be part of a leadership team that works closely together on the daily management of the disciplines and contributes to the strategic development of

Your key responsibilities will include- Ensuring your team of 21 employees has the freedom and resources to do their jobs effectively while you support their personal and professional growth. This includes conducting development reviews, making personnel decisions, gathering feedback from project managers, and offering clear performance feedback, as well as guiding professional growth.
- Participating in and leading projects within your area of expertise to address key technical challenges and interfaces—and supporting closely related disciplines where relevant.
- Engaging in dialogue with clients and partners to understand project needs and deliver innovative, value-creating solutions.
- Supporting resource and capacity planning by providing [xxxxx]’s Resource Manager with information on competencies, capacity, and development goals and aspirations.
