Do you want to make a difference for patients with Rare Diseases and influence healthcare decision-makers to support the positive recommendation and funding of innovative medicines? Are you motivated by optimizing market access and generating payer-relevant real-world evidence generation for new innovative and digital solutions in Novo Nordisk Rare Disease? If yes, then join our team as the Global Payer Evidence Lead! The position As the Payer Evidence Generation Lead, in partnership with Health Economics and Outcomes Research specialists and other relevant subject matter experts, you will be responsible for establishing payer evidence activities and long-term evidence strategies across the Rare Disease portfolio. You will also drive the execution of the plans that ensure the Payer perspectives are included in scientifically sound evidence-generation activities. As the Global Payer Evidence Generation Lead, you will be accountable for building and maintaining a comprehensive network of stakeholders with significant influence on Payer evidence needs. Your role will also involve promoting learning and understanding of Payer evidence expectations for optimal and sustainable access in Rare Disease. Key responsibilities:
• Develop a sound understanding of relevant evidence needed for market access and their HEOR plans including health care resources utilization data, patient reported outcomes, quality of life, and real-world evidence
• Determine and deliver on Payer evidence generation strategies for pipeline products,
• Support payer-relevant clinical studies, including pragmatic studies, real-world evidence programs, patient-costed pathways, epidemiology, treatment patterns, patient preferences, cost, and burden of illness studies
• Key contributor to market access strategy building on best practice / payer-relevant models and evidence generation planning.
• Execute payer relevant evidence programs with high quality collection and statistical analyses expected by payers (PICO, MCID etc.)
• Work cross-functionally with subject matters experts in the identification, collection, synthesis and analysis of real-world datasets, and designing and executing real world pilot studies in partnership with affiliates and their payers and the impactful publication of the results.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, we imagine you should have: • Master’s degree in health economics or outcomes research, epidemiology, or statistics/biostatistics
• At least six years of experience in health economics and health outcomes research, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy
• Extensive experience working within market access, digital health, and/or real-world evidence-generation
• Fluency in written and spoken English
On a personal level, it is expected that you have strong project and stakeholder management skills, as well as effective interpersonal communication skills. Be a team player. Additionally, you have a strategic and operational mindset, with a problem-solving approach that can identify solutions and influence decisions.

The Rare Disease Access Department is a highly diverse team, responsible for optimizing market access for the continued success of the Rare Disease franchise portfolios. In close collaboration with key internal stakeholders, we establish strategies and key support tactics around pricing, reimbursement, health economics & and outcomes research, and value communication, and subsequently support the implementation nationally, regionally, and locally.
