The position As the Associate Director of HCP Engagement for Obesity, you will develop and drive our future engagement strategy with HCPs in obesity, ensuring that it aligns with our global ambitions set out in the Obesity Therapy Area Strategy. You will set the strategic direction for the global engagement model towards HCPs, and strategically evolve the omnichannel approach in the HCP Marketing team and obesity. Specifically, responsibilities include:
  • Design, develop, and lead short and long-term HCP engagement strategies based on the Therapy Area Strategy for Obesity
  • Lead the digital evolution of HCP engagement models for Obesity, including a global digital engagement strategy, data integration, and superior customer experience across affiliates
  • Define, drive, and execute the future HCP Portal experience to provide easy access to relevant information and resources
  • Shape future content and journey opportunities, allowing for testing and improvement of HCP journeys for Obesity Brand teams
  • Creating digital engagement strategies for selected obesity brands, and implementing them in our top 10 markets
  • The Associate Director defines the strategic direction in close collaboration with VP & Brand Directors within the focus areas both in Copenhagen and Bangalore, delegates/assigns tasks and responsibilities to team members as well as drive change management within the organization and external partners. Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • At least 5 years of proven strategic and hands-on experience with digital engagement strategy and planning, customer journey mapping, and media execution from the pharmaceutical industry
  • Relevant master’s degree in business, media, marketing, communication, or similar
  • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and how different touchpoints (digital and face-to-face) play a role in the customer experience
  • International marketing/sales experience (out of HQ or regions and in affiliates)
  • Understanding of how to optimize media investments and enable digital media capabilities
  • On a personal level, you have a digital-first mindset, are a great team player, and excel at stakeholder management as you will be working across a complex matrix organization consisting of HQ, International Operations, North America Operations, Regions, and Affiliates. About the department The HCP marketing team is a team of highly engaged and skilled professionals, focused on driving business impact through the launch of our current and future treatments in Obesity, driving market development for HCPs, and developing strategies for the future obesity landscape for a strong future development of our Obesity Therapeutic Area.
