You'll be the strategic force ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely execution while navigating a diverse stakeholder landscape across our value chain.This is a 12‑month temporary position covering maternity leave.Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading product development and lifecycle management projects from concept to completion, applying a portfolio mindset to balance quality, risk, and business needsDefining clear project scope and success criteria based on technical considerations and business requirements, ensuring alignment with regulatory demandsManaging external development partnerships, from contract support through execution and continuous improvementBuilding and leveraging strategic networks across internal and external stakeholders to drive decisions, secure commitment, and overcome roadblocksCreating and maintaining comprehensive project plans with defined critical paths, accountable for major milestones and gate reviews including VDM Gate passage and regulatory submissionsDeveloping risk mitigation strategies aligned with project scope and quality requirementsEnsure cross-functional collaboration through knowledge sharing and effective resource utilizationYour new departmentIn Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed [xxxxx] products. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and commercial functions – all united in our mission to defeat serious chronic diseases.Your skills & qualificationsWe're seeking an experienced Project Manager who thrives in complex, dynamic environments and brings strategic thinking to execution. You'll need:Master's degree or above in a relevant area (Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field)Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in project management rolesAdvanced Project Management Professional certification and formal project management trainingProven experience managing medium-complexity projects within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably in product development or lifecycle managementAdvanced stakeholder relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to convince and align diverse interests across organizational boundariesStrong strategic mindset with the ability to balance portfolio considerations, business needs, and technical requirementsDemonstrated leadership capabilities in driving performance through cross-functional teams without direct authorityFluency in written and spoken EnglishWorking at [xxxxx]For over 100 years, we've been dedicated to driving lasting change for long-term health.
