The position You will drive Life Cycle Management and Global Project Team (GPT) related activities and be responsible for assessing LCM and LoE opportunities for injectable semaglutide. The main emphasis is on achieving our ambitious long-term goals. In this role, you can expect the following:
  • Impactful execution of LCM strategies to extend our leadership position within the diabetes drug segments.
  • Manage projects across the pharma value chain by overseeing team competencies, ensuring quality deliverables, mitigating risks, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Play a crucial role as a commercial and strategic input provider to other development projects including the Product Development Plan.
  • Development of key tactics related to diabetes drugs LoE, including identification and evaluation of opportunities and development of business cases.
  • Various ad hoc projects based on opportunities arising from the quick changes in the competitive landscape.
  • Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Significant proven project management experience with senior stakeholder involvement, preferably in both HQ and operations/affiliate
  • An independent approach to problem-solving and the ability to drive multi-stakeholder projects forward despite different views and opinions is crucial
  • Marketing experience and a solid commercial understanding is desirable
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • As a person, you demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills, organizational prowess, and proactive planning abilities. Your flexibility allows you to handle additional workloads, and you navigate challenging stakeholder landscapes with diplomacy and assertiveness. Your problem-solving approach involves getting to the core, and you excel in communicating scenarios and recommendations clearly. In collaborative settings, your optimistic outlook, self-drive, and impactful attitude shine through, making you adept at seizing and executing opportunities. About the department The team is part of the commercial diabetes business area. It is a driven, team-oriented, and international environment, and you will work with colleagues across the full pharma value chain from headquarters and all over the world. The project team is responsible for developing and executing the LCM strategies and LoE management activities for our diabetes drugs. As Project Lead you are reporting to the Project Vice President (PVP), who oversees both the short-term commercial and long-term product development strategies.
